Terrell Suggs was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens and if I was a defensive player I can't think of too many teams I would rather play for than the Ravens. Anytime you have the opportunity to line up with Ray Lewis you are in for a treat. The Baltimore Ravens defense will be among the best in the league this year and Suggs will be a big part of that. Terrell Suggs played defensive end in college but he isn't big enough to play d-end every down in the NFL. Suggs is still a bit weak against the run and needs to learn that there is more to the game than just sacking the quarterback. Terrell Suggs had a poor workout at the combine but his speed isn't measured in the 40... It is measured in the 5-10 yards it takes to get to the quarterback. He is very explosive and comes off the line like a rocket. If Terrell Suggs can gain some size and learn the other facets of the game he will be a force for years to come. He is weak when he has to drop into pass coverage and gets frozen on play-action. Assuming Suggs learns the rest of the game we will soon be talking about him in the same breath with some of the other great young defensive ends like Dwight Freeney and Julius Peppers. I think he will be a step behind those two but not far.
