Overall he is the best rookie in the league and the best player ever to come directly out of high school. A player like this comes along once in a lifetime. Ever since the Cavs got rid of Ricky Davis the team is playing much better and Lebron doesn't have to worry about keeping Ricky happy. This is now clearly Lebron's team and he has taken control. His 20.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.8 assists are tremendous numbers for a seasoned veteran, let alone a 19 year old rookie. The economic impact Lebron has had is amazing. The Cavs are selling more tickets, his jersey is the hottest item in the NBA, his shoes are flying off the shelves, and he is living up to the hype. One thing we have to keep in mind is Lebron James will only get better. As he learns the game more he won't strictly rely on his talent and athleticism and will be able to dominate the court any time he steps on the floor. He still is a bit inconsistent and has bad games now and then but for a 19 year old to be doing the things he is on the court is amazing. Very few people though Lebron would live up to the hype and he has.
