After a great college career Charles Rogers should have a great career with the Detroit Lions. He has the size, speed, and tools to be a great NFL wide receiver for years to come. Many people say the toughest position for a rookie is wide receiver. In the past couple years that has started to change. Over the past few years players like Koren Robinson, Randy Moss, and Donte Stallworth have produced well in their rookie seasons. I expect Charles Rogers to be one of the best rookie receivers of all time. Charles Rogers will instantly become the main offensive threat for the Detroit Lions. Bill Schroeder and Az-Zahir Hakim are the only receivers on their roster to speak of and Rogers should easily be able to beat one of them out for the starting job. He also has a very good young quarterback in Joey Harrington to get him the ball. If these two can stay together for a few years they could be one of the great passing combinations of our time. Probably not in the Young-Rice or Montana-Rice echelon but they will be very good. I predict 80 catches, 1000 yards and 10 touchdowns for Charles Rogers this year which is very good for a rookie receiver.
